UK outdoor track is nearing completion

Work on the University of Kentucky’s new track and field facility is nearing completion. Stands, press box, lights and storage facilities are in place. The synthetic Beynon running surface is about 80 percent complete. Once that is finished, lane markers will be added.

Here’s how the facility looks today (Monday).

Most of the seating capacity is near the finish line.
